My online activities pretty much are the same on a daily basis.

Everyday I am on YM first to see if anyone left any offline messages, chat a bit. Then its Facebook (in there do a little bit of catching up with friends, play Mafia Wars and Poker – which recently became bonding hour at night with the husband) Then I check my emails, back read on Twitter and then twit some. Check friend’s flickr account for their kids’ latest antics or shop finds. The the rest are spent either reading the news, looking out for books and deals on Ebay and Amazon and then blog hopping.

Im recently hooked on reading AnnaManila’s Ode2Old, the writer is awesome lady who’s approaching retirement. She is a great writer and easily captures her audience. I stumbled on her blog, and have bookmarked it. I went back to her 2007 entries and reading them now. Her writing makes you want to look up to her. She makes me miss my mamu so much. Especially when I read the Mommy Record Series. Reading her posts makes you want to come back to her blog and read some more. It gets addicting. She is like Lola Techie.

I wish I’d stumble on substantial blogs like hers again.

Yesterday I tried to hit two of the discount stores Filene’s Basement and Marshalls here in Back Bay where I work to see if there are any wide calf boots that I can use for the upcoming cold weather. Instead I ended up with this pair of mid-hell pumps by Nine West. I was walking around the store for about 15 minutes in them and they didn’t feel uncomfortable at all.  I love the plum-ish brown color.  It’s just different. 

For $40 how can you resist this cutie?  I love how it’s just the right heel height for my 30 inseam pants.    God I’m short! LOL

I also got a couple more other shoes that I purchased aside from these.  I will post them too later.
